When is the $15 diagnostic fee waived?
The $15 diagnostic fee is waived whenever you approve any paid work on that computer.
How quickly will I hear back?
Repair requests normally receive a response within 30 minutes during reasonable waking hours. Late-night requests may receive a response the following morning.
How do appointments and drop-off work?
Service is by confirmed appointment at my private home office in Union Beach, New Jersey. I provide the exact address and drop-off instructions after confirming the appointment. Walk-in visits without an appointment are not accepted.
Is the repair work covered by a warranty?
Completed repair and installation labor includes a 30-day limited workmanship warranty. To request warranty service, notify Ryan Fixes Tech and provide the computer for inspection within 30 days of the completed service. The full coverage and exclusions are in the Service Terms.
Will you do extra work without asking me?
No. I explain the recommendation and price before I do additional paid work.
What computers do you work on?
I mainly work on Windows desktops, laptops, and gaming PCs. Contact me about another device and I’ll tell you if I can help.
Will I lose my files?
Many repairs do not affect files, but every repair has some risk. Back up important files when possible. I’ll discuss any known data risk before work begins.
Should I send my password?
No. Never send passwords or private account information through this form. If access is needed, we’ll discuss a safer option privately.
